Mount Airy Lodge ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | My dad took me here long long ago. It was like a big big bunny slope. says Ben.
This ski area has a rather small selection of runs and a small number of ski lifts. There are 3 different ski lifts here, and they make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. The 250 foot vertical drop is naturally not that much to boast about, but all the other glorious features of Mount Airy Lodge make up for it. This ski area has a much lower than average ratio of tough runs and a much higher than average percentage of blue and |

green runs. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, this is an area with a load of ski areas for that. Having 25 acres of skiable territory, it's fantastically lovely and cozy. This is a smaller than average ski hill in possession of a rather relaxed drop when
| | you compare it to other ski areas in the region. The annual snowfall is less than average at Mount Airy Lodge. The yearly snowfall of 5 feet is not very high, but it's acceptable. There are lots of accommodations here if you want to spend the night, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set. This ski area has 6 slopes, and they are exciting to ski on. Plenty of skiers journey up here from East Stroudsburg, specially on the weekends. Mount Airy Lodge is a small ski resort operated by pleasant folks. | |
