Mount Tone ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | Mount Tone is no longer in operation. says Susie.
The seasonal snowfall is lower than average at this ski hill. Mount Tone has a small assortment of slopes and a comparatively small total of ski lifts. Having 60 acres of skiable area, it's more of a cozy style ski hill. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of hard ski trails and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate slopes. A 450 foot vertical drop is of course not that much, but Mount Tone makes up for it with other things. |

is a family friendly ski area with lots of blue and green ski runs. Not too many hotel rooms in the vicinity, you'll have to voyage a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations, you could end up sleeping in your car. This is a popular ski area for skiers from East Stroudsburg.
