Mount Tone ski area, Pennsylvania
| | Mount Tone is no longer in operation. says Susie.
Mount Tone gets covered by less than average snow every snow season. This is a conventional size ski area featuring an elevation difference that's around average when compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. The 10 ski slopes at this ski mountain are great. The seasonal snowfall of 5 feet is pretty okay for a ski resort such as this one. Getting a little bit of brilliant exercise and just hanging out with your skiing buddies are brilliant reasons to come. |
With a skiing area of 60 acres, it's exceptionally friendly and small-size. There are 3 good ski lifts here, and they make for a calming ride up the hill. This ski area has a comparatively small mixture of slopes and not too many lifts. This is a great spot for
| | young and old with a lot of intermediate or beginner trails. A 450 foot altitude difference is of course not that much, but Mount Tone has so many other brilliant attributes. This ski hill has a much lower than average share of challenging runs and a much higher than average share of intermediate or beginner slopes. You get lots of skiers driving up here from East Stroudsburg on snowy weekends. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the main area if you want to stay overnight, and if you make reservations | |

previous to going, you're all set. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general neighborhood, you'll discover scores of ski hills.
