As you're on this web page you are in all probability into skiing or snowboarding, either way, there are a lot of good places for that in the neighborhood. an average amount of snow each snow season. Winter in the mountains of Pennsylvania and excellent ski slopes are cause enough to come here to ski. Getting a bit of good exercise and just being on the runs for a while will make you pleased you came. You get lots
of skiers driving up here from Somerset on snow-white weekends. In wintertime the Pennsylvania mountains are a good place for snowboarding or skiing. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a lot of fun the whole snow season. There are some pleasant hotels in
the vicinity of the bottom of the hill, but you'd better book ahead of going as these hotels fill up rapidly.
Special features: Laurel Mountain is currently closed but efforts are underway to reopen this resort.
