The Springs at Laurel Mountain ski area, Pennsylvania
|
| | This is a pretty good ski hill in my opinion. I enjoy skiing here every winter. says Tim.
The Springs at Laurel Mountain has the biggest drop from top to bottom among ski resorts in a 61 mile radius. With a 940 foot elevation difference it's not the tallest hill there is, but The Springs at Laurel Mountain has so many other pleasant qualities. All the 21 ski slopes here are delightful. All 5 ski lifts at this ski area are well taken care of and managed by friendly people. Having 90 acres of terrain, it's more of |

a relaxed style ski area. The Springs at Laurel Mountain has a much lower than average share of black and red ski trails and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate trails. The best piece of information on this resort is of course the
| | trailmap of The Springs at Laurel Mountain on this web page. This ski resort has a rather humble mixture of trails and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. This is a conventional size ski resort featuring a vertical drop that's something like average when compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of delightful locations for that in the neighborhood. The striking 21 feet of seasonal snowfall is more than enough for very tremendous coverage. The seasonal | |

snowfall is roughly average at this ski resort. Getting your skiing muscles started and a chance to spend some time in the outdoors tops anything. Nothing surpasses the Pennsylvania hills during ski season; they are a pleasant place for skiing and snowboarding.
Hotels are on hand in the neighborhood of the base zone, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is so much fun through the season. This is a family friendly ski mountain with many green and
blue ski slopes for novices. A lot of skiers from Somerset like to ski here. The marvelous mountain vista of Pennsylvania and the especially nice ski runs make the trip here worthwhile.
Special features: Laurel Mountain is currently closed but efforts are underway to reopen this resort.
