The Springs at Laurel Mountain
|
| | This is a pretty good ski hill in my opinion. I enjoy skiing here every winter. says Tim.
The Springs at Laurel Mountain is a conventional size ski hill with a roughly average drop from top to bottom when compared to other mid Atlantic ski areas. A 940 foot vertical drop is naturally not that much, but all the other delightful properties of The Springs at Laurel Mountain compensate for it. The incredible 21 feet of seasonal snowfall is more than enough |

ski hill for skiers from Somerset. If you'll be living in a hotel, you're in luck, rooms are available in the neighborhood of the base area, and if you make reservations prior to departure, you're all set. The wintertime panorama of the Pennsylvania summits and the magnificent feeling of rocketing down the runs are in themselves reason enough to come here to ski. The snow-white mountains of Pennsylvania are a wonderful place for skiing or snowboarding.
Special features: Laurel Mountain is currently closed but efforts are underway to reopen this resort.
