  Kitzsteinhorn has a much lower than average part of black and red trails and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner ski trails. Kitzsteinhorn has a drop from top to bottom of 7,312 feet which is truly inspiring. Kitzsteinhorn is a more petite than average ski resort featuring a pretty sky-scraping height difference if compared to other Austria ski mountains. This ski area has 17 great ski lifts, and they are in wonderful condition. With a totality of 40 runs to ski on; there's a pleasant collection
    to satisfy everyone. Kitzsteinhorn has an acceptable assortment of ski trails and a great pick of good ski lifts. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is loads of fun every day of the winter season. With 10,000 acres of ski terrain you will
never lack skiing land. This is a good ski hill for the whole family with many intermediate or beginner ski trails for beginners. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general area, you'll bump into scores of ski hills. The natural prettiness of the Salzburg, Austria peaks and all the tremendous slopes are guaranteed to keep you returning. In winter the Salzburg, Austria mountaintops are a brilliant place for snowboarding and skiing. Getting some great exercise and getting out of the house for a while will have you returning.
