Maria Alm ski area, Salzburg, Austria

  Maria Alm has a much lower than average ratio of difficult slopes and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate slopes. All in all there are 80 trails to select from; there's a good selection to please everyone. With such a large skiable area, 20,000 acres in all lacking terrain won’t happen. All of the 21 lifts will get you up the slope well. A little bit of exercise and just being on the runs for a while attract snow skiers from near and far.     web page for information. Maria Alm has a marvelous choice of different slopes and scores of perfect different ski lifts. This ski resort has a drop from top to bottom of 3,930 feet which is ample for a great top to bottom run. Maria Alm is a small ski hill featuring
a medium altitude difference if compared to other Austria ski resorts. The wintertime panorama of the Salzburg, Austria highlands and the extremely wonderful trails are wonderful attractions for scores of snow skiers. This is a family friendly ski resort with a load of easy runs. The hills of Salzburg, Austria in winter are a glorious place for skiing or snowboarding. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is so much fun during the snow season.
