  The 3,608 feet of vertical drop is mind-blowing. With 7,500 acres of ski terrain you won't lack skiable territory. All of the 9 different ski lifts make for a comforting ride up the slope. This is a cozy ski area having an average vertical drop when you compare it to other ski mountains in the region. This ski mountain has a much lower than average proportion of black and red ski trails and a much higher than average ratio of easy ski trails. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general
    region, you'll discover scores of ski resorts. Having a sum of 30 trails to ski on; there are plenty trails for every skill. Koessen has a good set of ski trails and an okay number of lifts. Koessen is a family friendly ski hill with scores of easy ski runs for
beginners. In wintertime the Tyrol, Austria summits are a great place for skiing or snowboarding.
