| | Stary Smokovec is a small-size ski area having a pretty relaxed drop if compared to other Eastern Europe ski resorts. | | hand. With a 656 foot vertical drop it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other great qualities of Stary Smokovec compensate for it. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is scores of fun all winter season long.
