Geilo ski area, Norway

  Geilo has an okay variety of ski trails and scores of good ski lifts. There are 35 runs to choose from; it's a pleasant assortment. This is a good ski hill with lots of different trails; it won’t leave anyone bored. The 1,239 feet of elevation difference is pretty okay; Geilo makes the most of it all. Geilo is a full-size ski resort with a roughly average elevation difference when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. There are 18 lifts here, and they will get you up the hill well. Winter in the mountains of
    Norway and the exceptionally perfect trails have ski people coming from all over. Having 4,980 acres of skiable terrain you won't run out of skiable land. Nothing tops the Norway peaks in winter; they are something you can’t pass up if you're into snowboarding
and skiing. The ski map on this internet page will give you a good idea what Geilo is like. Geilo has a much higher than average proportion of expert and advanced trails and a proportion of green and blue trails much lower than average. Pleasant exercise and getting out of the house for a while attract skiers from far and wide. Skiing and snowboarding here in Norway is loads of fun all winter season long. Some trails here are exceptionally insane; but you were born an adrenaline addict, not a lot to do about that. Some folks  
prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general vicinity, you'll discover lots of ski resorts. This is a fun ski mountain with plenty of tough trails.
