Hanmer Springs ski area, Southern New Zealand

  This ski hill has a much lower than average share of red and black slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue runs. The beautiful snow here becomes exceptionally deep, 14 feet yearly, and that is one of the reasons this is such a good ski resort. The 7 trails at this ski hill are scenic. Hanmer Springs gets covered by an average amount of snow each winter. With the skiing land being 1,137 acres lacking skiing land won’t happen. Hanmer Springs is a regular size ski hill with a medium height difference compared
    to other New Zealand ski mountains. The 1,024 feet of height difference is not too bad; Hanmer Springs makes good use of it. Hanmer Springs is pleasurable and small-size, and people who work there are very kind. There are 3 lifts here, and they are in wonderful
shape. Hanmer Springs has a comparatively humble selection of runs and few lifts. A bit of exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in the great outdoors will make you glad you came. This is a delightful ski resort for young and old with a lot of green and blue ski runs. The wonderful mountain panorama of Southern New Zealand and the high of rocketing down a slope have many folks coming here. Nothing outclasses the Southern New Zealand summits in the wintertime; they are something you can’t pass up if you're interested
