Hanmer Springs has a much lower than average percentage of tough runs and a much higher than average part of easy slopes. This ski resort has 7 slopes, and they are great to ski on.     of 1,024 feet; it's enough to get some decent time on the slopes between lifts. This is a normal size ski hill having an altitude difference that's something like average compared to other Southern Hemisphere ski mountains. Hanmer Springs has a somewhat small
variety of slopes and a rather humble total of ski lifts. The natural splendor of the New Zealand, South Island hills and all the great trails have a lot of snow people coming here. There are 3 different ski lifts here, and they make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. Getting a magnificent workout and an opportunity to spend some time in the fresh air have snow skiers coming here. This is a great place for everybody with a lot of beginner and intermediate ski slopes. The New Zealand, South Island mountains during  
snow season are a great location for skiing and snowboarding. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this vicinity has loads of ski mountains. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of New Zealand, South Island is a lot of fun the whole winter season.
