Mt. Cheeseman ski area, Southern New Zealand

  Mt. Cheeseman has an average part of challenging trails and an average proportion of beginner and intermediate ski trails. The phenomenal yearly snowfall of 14 feet is an exceptionally fine coverage. The 1,103 feet of vertical drop is quite all right; it's enough to get some decent time on the slopes between lifts. The scenic landscape of the Southern New Zealand hills and the genuinely great trails have snow folks coming from far and wide.
