| | This ski resort has a much lower than average part of red and black ski runs and a much higher than average fraction of easy trails. This is a big ski area featuring an average altitude difference if compared to other New Zealand ski resorts. Mt. Lyford has a rather small array of trails and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. All of the 6 ski lifts are amusing to hitch a ride with.
