Mt. Robert ski area, New Zealand, South Island   This ski resort has a modest variety of trails and enough good ski lifts to serve them all. A 991 foot drop is naturally not that much, but Mt. Robert has so many other great characteristics. Mt. Robert gets blanketed by an average amount of snow each ski season. This ski hill has 12 ski runs, and they are fun to ski on. The fantastic 15 feet of annual snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a magnificent ski hill. Mt. Robert has a much lower than average proportion of red and black slopes and a much higher than average     share of green and blue trails. Mt. Robert is a typical size ski mountain having an average height difference if compared to other Southern Hemisphere ski mountains. All 5 good ski lifts at this ski resort will get you up the mountain efficiently. A little bit of exercise and getting out of the house for a while are wonderful reasons to come. With the ski terrain being 1,101 acres being short of skiable land won’t happen.
