| | This is an average size ski mountain featuring a medium vertical drop compared to other New Zealand ski resorts. Temple Basin has a much lower than average proportion of black and red runs and a much higher than average proportion of beginner and intermediate runs. There are 4 great ski lifts here, and they are in perfect condition. With 791 acres of skiable terrain you will never be deficient in ski terrain. The 1,420 feet of drop from top to bottom is not that bad; Temple Basin makes good use of it. A bit of exercise |

Temple Basin is a family friendly ski area with lots of green and blue slopes for beginners. The mountaintops of Southern New Zealand covered in fluffy snow are a good spot for snowboarding and skiing. | |
