Donner Ski Ranch   This ski hill receives so much white snow, 33 feet annually, and that is one of the reasons this is such a great ski hill. The 7 great ski lifts here make for a peaceful ride up the mountain. This ski hill obtains greater than average snow each winter season. With a totality of 52 trails to ski on; there's a great collection to please everyone. Donner Ski Ranch has a much lower than average percentage of expert and advanced ski slopes and a much higher than average     percentage of easy runs. A great workout and just hanging out with your skiing buddies will make you glad you came. Donner Ski Ranch has a reasonable variety of runs and a good total of ski lifts. The snow covered summits of the Northern Sierra Nevada make for a glorious sight. This is a tremendous location for everyone with lots of intermediate or beginner trails. The beautiful loveliness of the California peaks and the buzz of rocketing down a slope make the spree here worthwhile. With 505 acres of skiable area you will never run out of skiable land. With a 750 foot altitude difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Donner Ski Ranch has so many other glorious qualities. This is a smaller   than average ski hill featuring a quite small vertical drop when compared to other west coast ski hills. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is loads of fun the whole snow season.
