Kirkwood   This ski mountain has a height difference of 2,000 feet; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the ski slopes between lifts. Kirkwood has an average part of advanced and expert slopes and an average percentage of easy runs. The fluffy snow here becomes very deep, 42 feet annually, and that is one of the most excellent marks of this ski resort. This ski area has a reasonable array of runs and a great choice of good ski lifts. Kirkwood is a full-scale     ski resort boasting a medium altitude difference when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. With 2,300 acres of skiing territory you won't lack skiable area. Having a total of 65 trails to ski on; there are more than enough trails for every ability. Kirkwood gets stronger than average snow each winter. The scenic surroundings of the California highlands and the tremendous sensation of coasting down the slopes are tremendous attractions for scores of ski people. The lovely snow covered Northern Sierra Nevada summits are a fantastically pleasant place if you like snowboarding and skiing. There are fine comfy accommodations here, but you'd better reserve in advance of a trip given   that these accommodations fill up rapidly. The 15 good ski lifts here are well maintained and controlled by friendly folks. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is a great thing to do through the winter. The summits of California during snow season are a pleasant place for snowboarding and skiing. This ski area has a tremendous choice of ski trails to fit all abilities; it's impossible to get bored here. A magnificent workout and just hanging out with your skiing mates have ski folks coming here. The snow covered summits of the Northern Sierra Nevada is a panorama worth seeing. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are lots of magnificent places for that close by.
