June Mountain   I think this is a better deal than Mammoth. I like it better and my kids like it better. My husband likes Mammoth better but that's his problem. Says MaryAnne. Really nice runs and great Sierra scenery, it's a great mountain. Says Joe. This is a cozier than average ski resort with an average height difference when compared to other west coast ski resorts. This ski mountain has a much lower than average share of challenging ski trails and a much     higher than average fraction of easy ski slopes. This ski resort gets blanketed by an average amount of snow each winter. On this slope you'll encounter 37 different slopes; there's a great set to satisfy everyone. No scarcity of glorious places to stay, but do reserve a room before you go because it is a very popular destination. June Mountain has a reasonable collection of ski slopes and a good quantity of great ski lifts. All 7 good ski lifts at this ski area are in pleasant condition. This ski resort's height difference of 2,580 feet is in fact extraordinary. There's 500 acres of skiable territory, and all of it makes for splendid skiing. The impressive 21 feet of yearly snowfall   is ample for really good coverage. The ski trail map on this page will give you a good idea what June Mountain is like. The Central Sierra Nevada and its mountains give this ski resort a tremendously great landscape. This ski hill has a great assortment of ski runs; it's just not possible to get bored here. June Mountain is a family friendly ski hill with lots of intermediate or beginner ski runs. The grand mountain surroundings of California and all the nice ski slopes have snow folks coming from far and near. The mountains of California covered in snow are something you can’t pass up if you're keen on snowboarding or skiing.
