Cooper Spur

Very cozy little ski hill, great place for beginners. Says an anonymous skier.

The yearly snowfall is something like average at this ski hill. This ski area has a much lower than average ratio of red and black ski trails and a much higher than average part of intermediate or beginner ski trails. The 8 feet of great snow that fall here per winter keeps the ski trails well covered through the winter. With a skiable area of 50 acres, it's more of a cozy
style ski hill. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is lots of fun the whole season. The mountains of the Central Cascade Range in wintertime are a genuine skiing or snowboarding heaven. The 500 foot height difference
is of course not that much to brag about, but Cooper Spur has so many other wonderful characteristics. There aren’t any places to stay in the neighborhood, but if you're willing to voyage a short length then no problem, and if you make reservations in advance of a trip, you're all set. The 10 ski slopes at this ski hill are totally enjoyable. Lots of skiers journey up here from Hood River, specifically on the weekends. Cooper Spur is a more petite than average
ski hill having a smaller than average drop from top to bottom when compared to other west coast ski hills. Cooper Spur has a comparatively small mixture of ski trails and not too many ski lifts. A splendid workout and an opportunity to spend some time in nature are splendid reasons to come. The ski map on this page will give you a good idea what Cooper Spur is like. The wintertime in Oregon is the most splendid time of the year for skiing or snowboarding. In view of the fact that you're on this net page you are in all probability into skiing or snowboarding, either way, close at hand, you'll come upon lots of splendid places. Cooper Spur is a family friendly ski mountain with loads of intermediate or beginner slopes for beginners. The Central Cascade Range and its mountains is a view worth seeing.
