49 Degrees North

49 degrees north is not a very big ski area but it has some unique qualities. There's lots of runs where you can ski among the trees, that's quite neat I think. Says Michael Clark.

This ski area has a much lower than average part of difficult ski trails and a much higher than average share of green and blue ski trails. Having 2,325 acres of ski terrain you won't be short of skiable territory. The seasonal snowfall is greater than average at 49 Degrees
North. On this slope you'll bump into 68 different trails; there's a tremendous selection to satisfy everyone. All of the 6 good ski lifts are competently taken care of and controlled by friendly people. You have to go 37 miles to
get to a ski hill boasting a better size drop from top to bottom. This ski mountain gets covered by so much snow, 25 feet every season, and that is one of the reasons this is such a good ski mountain. This ski hill has an ok selection of ski trails and an okay selection of different ski lifts. Skiing and snowboarding here in Washington is so much fun every day of the ski season. The 1,851 feet of altitude difference is not too bad; it's sufficient to get some decent
time on the slopes between lifts. A nice workout and just being on the ski slopes for a while will make you feel nice. This is a family friendly ski mountain with loads of intermediate or beginner slopes for beginners. 49 Degrees North is a fuller-size than average ski mountain boasting a medium drop if compared to other west coast ski hills. The snow covered summits of Washington are a good site for snowboarding and skiing. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this is a neighborhood with heaps of places for that. The close by places to stay are a bit far away from the bottom of the hill, but do reserve a room in advance of a trip because it is a very popular destination.
