Crested Butte   The 16 good ski lifts here will get you up the mountain well. With 1,167 acres of skiable terrain lacking skiing land won’t happen. Crested Butte has a marvelous pick of different slopes and lots of different ski lifts. Having a total of 121 ski slopes to ski on; there are ample ski slopes for every capability. Crested Butte is a mid-size ski mountain featuring an average elevation difference compared to other US Rockies ski areas. The snowboarding and the     skiing in Colorado is so much fun all winter long. The altitude difference of 2,775 feet is phenomenal. The winter vista of the Colorado mountains and the buzz of rocketing down a slope are reason enough to come here to ski. The unbelievable seasonal snowfall of 25 feet is one of the reasons this is such a good ski area. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general area, you'll come across scores of ski mountains. This ski area boasts greater snowfall than the local average every season. This ski area has a much lower than average percentage of challenging runs and a much higher than average share of intermediate or beginner slopes. This is a splendid ski mountain   for everyone with loads of green and blue slopes. Nothing beats the Colorado peaks in the winter; they are a great spot for snowboarding or skiing. This ski mountain has a splendid selection of slopes to fit all abilities; it's just not possible to get bored here. There are scores of rooms here if you want to stay for the night, but you'd better book before you go because these rooms fill up quick. Getting a bit of magnificent exercise and getting out of the house for a while have snow folks coming here.
