Ski Apache

  This is a tougher mountain to handle than most. If you're a good skier you will love this mountain. Says Lorraine.

The mind-blowing seasonal snowfall of 15 feet is a fantastically nice coverage. This ski area gets covered by an average amount of snow each snow season. Having the skiable territory being 750 acres you will never run out of skiable territory. This ski resort has an average ratio of tough runs and an average part of intermediate or beginner
    runs. This ski area has 55 slopes that you may ski on; there's a good diversity to please everyone. Ski Apache has the largest altitude difference among ski areas in a 186 mile radius. Ski Apache is a normal size ski resort with a
roughly average elevation difference when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. The Sacramento Mountains covered in snow is a very great place if you take pleasure in skiing and snowboarding. Ski Apache has a good diversity of runs and a reasonable choice of great ski lifts. The Sacramento Mountains and its hills is a sight worth seeing. This ski hill has 11 different ski lifts, and they are nicely maintained and managed by kind folks. The 1,900 feet  
of drop is pretty ok; it's sufficient to get some decent time on the trails between lifts. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of New Mexico is loads of fun all snow season long. Getting a good workout and just being on the runs for a while attract folks from near and far. The natural attractiveness of the New Mexico highlands and the great sensation of zipping down the ski slopes are reason enough to come here to ski. The nearby accommodations are a bit away from the bottom area, and if you make reservations before you go, you're all set. The trailmap on this page will give you a good idea what Ski Apache is like. This is a great ski hill with scores of different trails; there's absolutely no way to get bored here. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, around here, you won't bump into scores of other ski mountains. Nothing outclasses the New Mexico hills during snow season; they are a great place for skiing and snowboarding.
