Elk Meadows

  Utah has a lot of really good ski resorts and this one is no exception. Says Dean.

Elk Meadows has an okay assortment of trails and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. There's 450 acres of skiing land, and it's all in nice shape. This ski area has a much lower than average percentage of tough ski trails and a much higher than average percentage of green and blue trails. Elk Meadows has the largest drop among ski mountains in a 126 mile radius.
    The seasonal snowfall is heavier than average at Elk Meadows. A little bit of exercise and an opportunity to spend some time in the outdoors are delightful incentives to come. All in all there are 36 trails to choose from; there's
a perfect range to satisfy everyone. This ski hill has a drop from top to bottom of 1,400 feet; it's enough to get some decent time on the ski slopes between lifts. Winter in the mountains of Utah and all the pleasant slopes make the spree here worthwhile. There are 6 lifts here, and they are perfectly maintained and managed by caring folks. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far away from the bottom area if you want to stay for a few days, and if you  
make reservations before you go, you're all set. Elk Meadows is a cozy ski hill in possession of an average elevation difference compared to other US Rockies ski mountains. The inspiring seasonal snowfall of 33 feet is one of the reasons this is such a tremendous ski mountain. Elk Meadows has a fine pick of slopes to fit all abilities; it won’t leave anyone bored. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a vicinity with few other places for that. The snowboarding and the skiing in Utah is loads of fun the whole winter season. Elk Meadows is a family friendly ski mountain with many intermediate or beginner slopes for learners. The snow-white mountains of Utah are something you can’t leave out if you're keen on snowboarding and skiing.
