You know we have grass skiing in the summer or ''off months''. There is also water slides where you just cover the ground with big plastic sheets and then run water down them. There is also ''moutain bording'' that is just a skate bourd with larger wheels. You could be open all year round if you wanted too. I can set all of these up |

A 425 foot elevation difference is unsurprisingly not that much, but Mount Southington has so many other great characteristics. Mount Southington is a cozy ski area in possession of
| a cozy drop from top to bottom if compared to other east coast ski mountains. This ski hill has a much lower than average part of demanding slopes and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green ski runs. Mount Southington has a humble assortment of ski runs and enough ski lifts to serve them all. The yearly snowfall of 7 feet keeps the depth good. The 14 runs at this ski area are totally exciting. of easy trails. This ski hill receives lighter than average snow each ski season. The skiable land being 51 acres, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. Some exercise and a chance to spend some time in the outdoors are delightful
reasons to come. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Connecticut is a good thing to do the whole winter. There are 8 ski lifts here, and they are exciting to catch a ride with. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, around here,
you'll come upon lots of delightful sites. The wintertime in Connecticut is so beautiful for skiing or snowboarding. There are fine comfortable places to stay here, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set.
