Powder Ridge   Powder Ridge is closed for season due to pending sale. Says jm. This ski area has 5 great ski lifts, and they are in magnificent shape. This ski mountain has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert ski slopes and a much higher than average percentage of easy slopes. This ski mountain boasts less snowfall than the local average each season. Every snow season this ski resort gets 5 feet of wonderful snow, and that is naturally not top-notch,     but not that bad either. The 500 foot drop is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about, but all the other magnificent attributes of Powder Ridge compensate for it. Powder Ridge has a fairly humble diversity of slopes and a reasonable total of good ski lifts. No other ski hill for 25 miles has a more towering altitude difference. The snowboarding and the skiing in Connecticut is loads of fun all through the winter season. Having a skiable land of 88 acres, it's petite enough to get to know all your fellow ski folks. This is a smaller than average ski area in possession of a pretty small altitude difference when compared to other east coast ski hills. All the 19 slopes here are magnificent to ski on. There are scores of accommodations here if you want to stay an extra day, but if you don’t have reservations, you may end up snoozing in your automobile. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are scores of magnificent places for that close at hand. A magnificent workout and spending some quality time in nature will make you pleased you came.
