The 17 trails at this ski area are good to ski on. Lost Valley is a small ski hill having a rather small-size height difference compared to other east coast ski areas. This ski resort has a much lower than average proportion of expert and advanced slopes and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green trails. The 4 feet of good snow that falls here every year is quite acceptable |
for a ski area like this one. No other ski area for 27 miles has a more towering height difference. This ski resort obtains less than average snow every winter. Having 45 acres of skiable land, it's cozy enough to get to know all
| your fellow skiers. Lost Valley has a somewhat small selection of trails and quite few ski lifts. When this part of Maine is blanketed in beautiful snow; it is so scenic for skiing and snowboarding. The 240 foot drop from top to bottom is of course not that much to boast about, but all the other splendid features of Lost Valley make up for it.
