The 1,250 feet of vertical drop is not that shaggy; it's enough to get some decent time on the runs between lifts. On this hill you'll locate 45 different runs; there are more than enough runs for every ability. Ragged Mountain has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert slopes |
and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green trails. Ragged Mountain has an okay collection of trails and a good amount of ski lifts. This is a typical size ski resort in possession of an average vertical drop compared to
| other east coast ski areas. The snow covered highlands of the White Mountains give this ski hill an unbelievably pleasant panorama. In wintertime the New Hampshire highlands are always pleasant for skiing and snowboarding. The annual snowfall of 8 feet keeps the trails well blanketed through the snow season. snowfall close to the local average each ski season. In wintertime the White Mountains is an unbelievably pleasant spot if you love skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of New Hampshire is so much fun every
day of the winter. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time in the outdoors have skiers coming here. The nearby places to stay are a bit away from the bottom of the hill, but you'd better reserve before you go as these places
to stay fill up fast. The gorgeous view of the New Hampshire highlands and the excitement of cruising down a slope have many folks coming here. Ragged Mountain has a glorious selection of runs to match all abilities; it's not possible
to get bored here. Ragged Mountain is a glorious ski area for the whole family with many beginner and intermediate runs. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, this is an area with heaps of ski mountains for that.

features: Ragged Mountain introduces the Wild Woods Terrain Park this season. Wild Woods is one of New England’s only all natural terrain parks with cliff drops, a quarter pipe, log slides and other new jibs and jumps in a natural wooded environment.
