Gore Mountain   Gore Mountain is the best ski resort around here. Lots of great runs for all abilities. I ski mainly on the upper part. The lower part is more family friendly. Says Joe. I love the great snow here and the scenery. Says Jim. This is a full-scale ski hill in possession of a rather high vertical drop when compared to other east coast ski areas. This ski area gets an average amount of snow every ski season. Gore Mountain's vertical drop of 2,300 feet is     a perfect drop. The extraordinary yearly snowfall of 13 feet is one of the greatest characteristics of this ski area. All in all there are 88 ski trails to select from; there are sufficient ski trails for every skill. The Adirondack Mountains covered in snow is a fantastically great location if you take pleasure in skiing and snowboarding. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is scores of fun the whole snow season. This ski resort has 400 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for good skiing. Gore Mountain has the greatest elevation difference among ski areas in a 35 mile radius. Gore Mountain has a much lower than average share of black and red trails and a much higher than average   part of blue and green slopes. Gore Mountain has loads of slopes and enough ski lifts to serve them all. In wintertime the New York summits are always great for skiing and snowboarding. The 12 great ski lifts here are in great shape. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general area, you'll bump into loads of ski areas. This is a great location for the whole family with lots of blue and green trails. Getting your skiing muscles activated and spending some quality time in the outdoors will have you coming back for more. The wintertime panorama of the New York hills and all the good runs are certain to keep you coming back. Not too many hotels close at hand, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better book previous to going since these hotels fill up rapidly. The snow covered summits of the Adirondack Mountains give this ski resort a fantastically great view. The ski map of Gore Mountain on this internet page of course says a thousand words.
