Yawgoo Valley
| | Yawgoo Valley is not huge but it's the only one we've got here in Rhode Island. Says Jack.
The seasonal snowfall is lighter than average at Yawgoo Valley. This ski hill has a somewhat humble collection of ski trails and quite few ski lifts. No other ski area for 46 miles has a higher vertical drop. Yawgoo Valley is a cozy ski hill with a smaller size than average vertical drop if compared to other east coast ski areas. A 245 foot drop is naturally not |
that much, but Yawgoo Valley makes up for it in other ways. The 12 ski slopes at this ski mountain are splendid to ski on. There are 4 great ski lifts here, and they will get you up the slope efficiently. The 3 feet of ice cold snow
| that fall here every year is not extremely high, but it's acceptable. Hotel rooms are at your disposal in the vicinity of the base area, but do book a room prior to departure given that it is a very popular destination. Having a skiing land of 30 acres, it's more of a cozy style ski mountain. Yawgoo Valley has a much lower than average fraction of tough trails and a much higher than average ratio of intermediate or beginner ski trails. Getting a delightful workout | |
|
and spending some quality time in the fresh air will have you coming back. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a vicinity with a lot of places for that. A lot of skiers from Providence-New Bedford-Fall
River like to ski here. Yawgoo Valley is a fine ski mountain for everyone with loads of beginner and intermediate ski runs. The winter in Rhode Island is the most grand time of the year for snowboarding or skiing. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Rhode Island is lots of fun the whole season.
