Four Lakes
| | Local ski hill, lots of fun in the winter. Says Kevin.
It's horrible. Very shallow hill. don't be fooled by the ''9 acres.'' IT'S TINY! I'd compare it to skiing in a tilted ice rink. Not at all satisfying/worth it. Never will go again. Says A Snowboarder Thu, 11 Feb 2010.
This is a more petite than average ski resort in possession of a cozier than average height difference when compared to other mid west ski mountains. Four Lakes has a moderate |
variety of slopes and sufficient lifts to serve them all. A 100 foot altitude difference is of course not that much, but all the other good attributes of Four Lakes compensate for it. Having a skiable territory of 9 acres, it's relaxed
| enough to get to know all your fellow ski people. The 7 runs at this ski hill are gorgeous. This ski mountain is friendly and petite managed by friendly folks. The annual snowfall of 2 feet doesn’t sound like a heap, but it's relatively okay. Four Lakes has a much lower than average proportion of difficult slopes and a much higher than average percentage of beginner and intermediate slopes. All of the 7 great ski lifts are amusing to take a ride with. Four Lakes | |

has lighter than average snow each winter. Getting your skiing muscles activated and an opportunity to spend some time in nature will have you coming back. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet. Whether
you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of tremendous ski mountains for that in the neighborhood. The winter in Illinois is truly a glorious time of year for skiing or snowboarding. This is a family friendly ski mountain with
a lot of easy ski trails for learners. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Illinois is a great thing to do throughout the snow season.
