Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park
| | Snowstar, wow cool name, sounds sporty and trendy, I like it. Not just the name but ski area itself too of course. Sporty and trendy, just like me. Nah, seriously, it's a good place, and not far away. Says Maggie.
You have to go 52 miles to get to a ski hill having a bigger elevation difference. With a skiable area of 28 acres, it's more of a small-size style ski resort. This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of expert and advanced ski |
slopes and a much higher than average fraction of easy ski trails. This ski resort has 7 lifts, and they are competently kept up and controlled by friendly people. This ski area has less than average snow every winter season. This
| ski area has a small selection of ski trails and an acceptable sum of ski lifts. This is a small-size ski resort featuring an average vertical drop compared to other mid west ski hills. With a 262 foot vertical drop it's not the tallest hill there is, but Ski Snowstar Winter Sports Park has so many other pleasant features. Illinois gets extremely beautiful in the wintertime; it is so beautiful for skiing and snowboarding. There aren’t any hotel rooms around here, | |

but if you're willing to go a small distance then no problem, and if you make reservations previous to going, you're all set. A heap of skiers voyage up here from Davenport-Moline-Rock Island, particularly on the weekends. This ski
resort has 15 trails, and they are totally amusing. The 3 feet of good snow that fall here per winter is unsurprisingly not top-notch, but not that shaggy either. You may be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this
region has a pretty small number of ski resorts. This is a splendid place for everyone with heaps of intermediate or beginner ski trails. A fine workout and just being on the runs for a while attract snow folks from far and near.
Skiing and snowboarding here in Illinois is so much fun all winter season long.
