Hanson Hills
| | Hanson Hills is a blast! I love it here. It's not big by any standards but I still love it. Says Mike.
There's 125 acres of skiable terrain, and it's all in great condition. A 225 foot vertical drop is of course not that much, but Hanson Hills makes up for it by other means. Hanson Hills has a much lower than average ratio of hard ski runs and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate runs. No other ski area for 28 miles has |
a more sky-scraping drop. The 11 trails at this ski mountain are good. A lot of skiers drive up here from Cadillac, particularly on the weekends. Hanson Hills receives less snowfall than the local average each season. All of the 5
| good ski lifts are admirably taken care of and managed by kind people. The annual snowfall of 5 feet is not fantastically high, but it's all right. This ski resort has a fairly humble array of runs and sufficient lifts to serve them all. The winter in Michigan is the most magnificent time of the year for skiing and snowboarding. Hanson Hills is a mid-size ski resort featuring an average drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski areas in the region. | |
|
The snowboarding and the skiing in Michigan is so much fun all through the season. Getting some wonderful exercise and just hanging out with your skiing mates will make you feel wonderful. No need to hunt hard for rooms, but if you don’t have reservations, you might end up snoozing in your car.
