Mount Brighton
| | Hi everyone, this is Steve. I've been a skier for many years and Mount Brighton is the closest skiing place to my house so I come here a lot. It's pretty good, not bad at all. It's better if you ski slow though, otherwise you get down very fast. But it's pretty good, well worth a visit. Says Steve.
There are 18 ski lifts here, and they are exciting to catch a ride with. The 250 foot altitude difference is unsurprisingly not that much to talk about, |
but Mount Brighton makes up for it by other means. The seasonal snowfall is lighter than average at this ski resort. Mount Brighton is an average size ski mountain having a medium altitude difference compared to other mid west ski
| mountains. This ski mountain has 26 slopes, and they are good to ski on. Delightful exercise and just being on the trails for a while have people coming here. Mount Brighton has an acceptable assortment of runs and a lot of ski lifts. There are some delightful hotels in close proximity to the bottom area, but you'd better book in advance of a trip because these hotels fill up quick. Mount Brighton has the most sizeable vertical drop among ski mountains in a 22 | |
|
mile radius. This ski hill has 130 acres of skiing land, and it's all covered by good snow. The annual snowfall of 4 feet is of course not outstanding, but not that shaggy either. This ski resort has an average proportion of red and
black runs and an average percentage of easy runs. Scores of skiers from Ann Arbor like to ski here. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, this is a region with quite few other sites for that. The skiing and
the snowboarding in this region is lots of fun all winter long. When this section of Michigan is covered in beautiful snow; it is so scenic for snowboarding and skiing.
