All 6 different ski lifts at this ski area will get you up the mountain effectively. A 500 foot elevation difference is of course not that much, but Giants Ridge has so many other magnificent characteristics. Giants Ridge is a more |
sizeable than average ski mountain with an average drop if compared to other mid west ski mountains. This ski resort has 202 acres of terrain, and it's all blanketed by beautiful snow. Giants Ridge has a decent selection of slopes
| and an ok choice of different ski lifts. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is scores of fun through the season. The annual snowfall of 7 feet keeps the ski trails well blanketed during the winter. This ski hill has a much lower than average percentage of expert and advanced ski trails and a much higher than average percentage of easy slopes. Giants Ridge is a tremendous location for the whole family with a lot of green and blue slopes. | |

Fine exercise and just being on the trails for a while will make you feel great. In view of the fact that you're on this web page you are probably into skiing or snowboarding, either way, in this general vicinity, you won't find many
other ski areas. The nearest ski mountain with a higher elevation difference is 40 miles away. Having a totality of 34 trails to ski on; there are sufficient trails for every skill. This ski hill gets blanketed by lighter than average
snow every winter. The hills of the Mesabi Range in wintertime are a one hundred percent snowboarding and skiing paradise. The snow blanketed hills of the Mesabi Range is a panorama worth seeing. The wintertime in Minnesota is so
stunning for snowboarding and skiing. Giants Ridge is a tremendous ski area with loads of different slopes; it's completely out of the question to get bored here. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far from the base area if
you want to spend the night, but you'd better reserve ahead of going as these rooms fill up swiftly. You get lots of skiers traveling up here from Duluth on snowy weekends.
