Hyland
| | I live just a few blocks away so I go here a lot in the winter. It's good. Says Jesse.
This ski hill gets blanketed by lighter snowfall than the local average every season. This ski hill has a rather small selection of slopes and sufficient great ski lifts to serve them all. Hyland is a smaller than average ski hill having a relatively small-size vertical drop when compared to other mid west ski hills. The 6 lifts here are amusing to hitch a ride with. |
All the 14 runs here are great. This ski hill gets 5 feet of good snow every winter, and that is pretty acceptable for a ski hill such as this one. The 175 foot vertical drop is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about, but all
| the other splendid qualities of Hyland compensate for it. Having a skiable territory of 35 acres, it makes for a cozy skiing experience. This is a popular ski mountain for skiers from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington. This ski hill has a much lower than average fraction of demanding ski runs and a much higher than average share of beginner and intermediate slopes. Skiing and snowboarding here in Minnesota is a perfect thing to do every day of the winter season. | |
|
There are perfect comfy places to stay here, and if you make reservations before you go, you're all set. Some folks prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, in this general neighborhood, you'll encounter a lot of ski areas.
The winter months in Minnesota is truly a good time of year for skiing or snowboarding. Please refer to the ski map of Hyland on this net page for information. This is a family friendly ski mountain with scores of beginner and intermediate ski runs for novices.
