Powder Ridge   This ski resort has a much lower than average ratio of expert and advanced runs and a much higher than average proportion of blue and green ski runs. No other ski resort for 77 miles has a more sky-scraping altitude difference. The 290 foot drop from top to bottom is naturally not that much to talk about, but Powder Ridge has so many other good attributes. Powder Ridge has a comparatively modest variety of ski runs and a good amount of ski lifts. This is a conventional     size ski hill boasting a drop from top to bottom that's roughly speaking average when compared to other mid west ski resorts. The 15 runs at this ski resort are totally exciting. The wintertime in Minnesota is truly a fine time of year for skiing or snowboarding. The skiable terrain being 60 acres, it's exceptionally enjoyable and cozy. Powder Ridge has less than average snow every winter. All 7 ski lifts at this ski resort make for a relaxing ride up the mountain. Every winter this ski area gets 4 feet of white snow, and that is not very high, but it's okay. Not too many hotel rooms in the neighborhood, you'll have to go a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations before you go, you're   all set. Plenty of skiers voyage up here from St. Cloud, specifically on the weekends. Powder Ridge is a family friendly ski mountain with loads of intermediate or beginner trails. A great workout and just being on the slopes for a while will have you returning.
