Spirit Mountain   All the 22 trails here are delightful. Spirit Mountain has a much lower than average ratio of advanced and expert slopes and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate trails. There's 175 acres of skiable land, and all of it makes for good skiing. A 700 foot vertical drop is of course not that much, but all the other fine qualities of Spirit Mountain compensate for it. The 8 feet of snow that falls here per year keeps the coverage splendid.     Spirit Mountain is a big ski resort in possession of a pretty soaring drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski resorts in the region. The seasonal snowfall is around average at this ski resort. This ski mountain has a moderate set of trails and a decent pick of ski lifts. The 9 different ski lifts here will get you up the slope well. Spirit Mountain is a good place for young and old with a lot of beginner and intermediate ski runs for learners. Getting a little bit of great exercise and just hanging out with your skiing friends tops anything. You have to go 811 miles to get to a ski resort boasting a more sizeable height difference. There are some fine rooms in the neighborhood   of the bottom of the hill, but do book a room before you go since it is a very popular destination. Snowboarding and skiing in this part of Minnesota is a good thing to do every day of the snow season. This is a popular ski area for skiers from Duluth.
