Wild Mountain   By far one of the cleanest family friendly areas in the Twin Cities ***** five stars. Says Anonymous. Very good place to ski when you want something nice and traditional. Small so it's good for kids. Chalet space is limited. The alpine d-team(d for development). Family fun is certain. Says Mlubega. This ski area has 100 acres of skiable land, and it's all blanketed by ice cold snow. This ski area has 8 lifts, and they are in great condition.     This ski hill gets blanketed by 4 feet of snow per year, and that is rather okay for a ski hill like this one. Wild Mountain has a reasonable mixture of runs and an acceptable pick of lifts. Wild Mountain is an ordinary size ski hill featuring an average vertical drop if compared to other mid west ski resorts. Wild Mountain has the most sizeable drop from top to bottom among ski resorts in a 28 mile radius. Wild Mountain has an average ratio of expert and advanced slopes and an average fraction of blue and green runs. The yearly snowfall is lower than average at Wild Mountain. This ski resort has 25 ski slopes, and they are great. You'll come across loads of skiers from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington   here. A 300 foot drop from top to bottom is naturally not that much, but Wild Mountain has so many other nice characteristics. No need to hunt hard for hotels, but you'd better book before heading out as these hotels fill up rapidly. Getting a perfect workout and a chance to spend some time in the outdoors attract folks from all over. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, close at hand, you'll come across a lot of perfect locations. The wintertime in Minnesota is so striking for skiing and snowboarding.
