The centerpoint of this makeover will be the addition of a 100 foot conveyor lift on Dandy (northern beginner hill), making the ride up truly beginner friendly. This, along with other terrain changes will give the Wild Mountain Snowsports School a dedicated beginner teaching area to inspire a fun, exciting learning experience for new enthusiasts     of all ages. We are also proud to announce the purchase of a new $250,000 environmental friendly groomer. The ''Park Bully Edge'' has all the features of a traditional Piston Bully, but in addition it has the capability and design feautures for grooming terrain parks. The ''Park Bully Edge'' uses 25% less fuel than traditional snow cats. It also meets the strictest emission standards. Wild Chutes Snow Tubing offers the biggest & best Snow Tubing hill in MN. Wild Chutes snow tubing park is in its fourth year of operation. Ride the conveyor to the top with ease & fly down one of our 8 - 10 lanes. Wild Mountain offers a wide variety of runs ranging from our beginner hills to our   double diamond run ''the Wall.'' Wild Boasts great snowmaking and grooming. We have 2 Terrain Parks. ''The Park'' is our ''big boy park'' this is where you head when you want to watch the action or take part in the action. There is a high speed rope tow to get you back to the top quickly & efficiently. Quarter Rabbit Terrain Park is for the beginners who want to have an opportunity to practice on something a little less intimidating. If you are looking for some speed & enjoyment you will enjoy Wild, Ego Alley & You Asked For It. Easy Rder, at almost one mile long is a great beginner run that wraps around the North side of the Mountain. Often times you will also see Deer, Bald Eagles & other wild life while enjoying the skiing & riding. Wild Mountain offers Northwoods atmosphere with great views and even better skiing and snowboarding. We are known for terrific snowmaking and grooming, and have been the first area open in the midwest for the last 28 years. The Wild Mountain Snowsports School and its dedicated team of professional Ski and Snowboard instructors offer lessons seven days and nights a week. We are the only metro region ski area offering children specific lessons or programs seven days a week.
