A 500 foot altitude difference is naturally not that much, but Devils Head makes up for it in other ways. The     28 trails at this ski resort are good to ski on. There are 16 lifts here, and they are in good condition. This is a big ski area in possession of an average vertical drop if compared to other mid west ski resorts. The nearest ski resort having a more soaring drop from top to bottom is 76 miles away. This ski area has a much lower than average percentage of expert and advanced ski slopes and a much higher than average percentage of green and blue trails. Devils Head has an okay assortment of trails and loads of great ski lifts. This ski resort has 260 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for delightful skiing. Devils Head is a fine ski mountain for the whole family with scores of intermediate   or beginner ski slopes for novices. This ski area gets 3 feet of ice cold snow annually, and that is not exceptionally high, but it's okay. This ski area receives lower snowfall than the local average every winter. A good workout and just hanging out with your skiing mates attract ski folks from all over. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is lots of fun during the snow season. The close by lodgings are a bit far from the bottom area, and if you make reservations ahead of going, you're all set.
