Nordic Mountain   Nordic Mountain has a rather small array of trails and a decent pick of lifts. The 7 feet of snow that fall here every year keeps the runs well covered throughout the season. This ski resort has 14 ski trails, and they are great. You have to go 38 miles to get to a ski hill in possession of a larger elevation difference. With a 265 foot drop it's not the highest hill there is, but all the other fine properties of Nordic Mountain make up for it. The winter     in Wisconsin is so beautiful for skiing and snowboarding. The seasonal snowfall is less than average at this ski area. Loads of skiers travel up here from Stevens Point, specially on the weekends. The snowboarding and the skiing in Wisconsin is a good thing to do during the season. The 6 different ski lifts here make for a calming ride up the slope. This ski area has a much lower than average percentage of advanced and expert slopes and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue trails. Nordic Mountain is a typical size ski resort featuring a roughly average altitude difference compared to other mid west ski hills. Having 60 acres of skiable area, it makes for a friendly skiing experience.   Nordic Mountain is a family friendly ski hill with loads of intermediate or beginner runs. Getting a wonderful workout and a chance to spend some time in nature attract ski folks from far and near. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general area, you'll come across lots of ski hills.
