Ski Beech
| | I recommend Beech over other nearby ski areas. The facilities are better, and it's less crowded. Says Mike.
This is the second highest ski mountain in the region, but in many ways it's the best. Says Bob.
Ski Beech is a conventional size ski mountain having a medium drop from top to bottom when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. The 15 ski trails at this ski resort are fun to ski on. Ski Beech has a comparatively modest mixture |
of trails and a reasonable selection of different ski lifts. Ski Beech has a much lower than average part of difficult trails and a much higher than average fraction of intermediate or beginner trails. All 10 lifts at this ski mountain
| are fun to catch a ride with. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is lots of fun the whole snow season. The skiable territory being 95 acres, it makes for an intimate skiing experience. With a 830 foot altitude difference it's not the highest hill there is, but Ski Beech has so many other great characteristics. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with your skiing pals will make you feel good. The natural beauty of the North Carolina summits | |

and all the great ski runs have people coming from far and near. The 7 feet of beautiful snow that falls here every winter keeps the runs well covered through the season. Ski Beech gets covered by less snowfall than the local average
every ski season. You get lots of skiers driving up here from Boone on snow-white weekends. If you'll be staying in a hotel, you're in luck, places to stay are offered near the bottom of the hill, but you'd better reserve previous
to going in view of the fact that these places to stay fill up fast. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this area has lots of ski areas. In wintertime the North Carolina hills are something you can’t
leave out if you're interested in snowboarding or skiing. The ski run map of Ski Beech on this page unsurprisingly says a thousand words.
