Hidden Valley
| | Although it's not a huge ski area it's quite spread out and spacious. Says Judy.
This ski mountain has 388 acres of terrain, and all of it makes for good skiing. Hidden Valley is a good size ski resort boasting a medium vertical drop when you compare it to other ski hills in the region. This ski hill has 9 lifts, and they make for a tranquil ride up the mountain. The 610 foot altitude difference is unsurprisingly not that much to brag about, but Hidden Valley |
compensates for it in other ways. This ski hill obtains an average amount of snow each winter. The white snow here turns extremely deep, 10 feet per season, and that is an unbelievably good depth. This ski area has a good collection
| of slopes and a good total of lifts. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with loads of places for that. This ski resort has a much lower than average ratio of hard trails and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue slopes. If you'll be living in a hotel, you're in luck, accommodations are available near the bottom area, but do book a room prior to departure since it is a very popular destination. All the | |

27 ski slopes here are amusing to ski on. The best piece of information on this resort is of course the ski trail map of Hidden Valley on this page. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is lots of fun every day of the
winter season. The winter months in Pennsylvania is truly a great time of year for snowboarding or skiing. Getting a bit of glorious exercise and getting out of the house for a while is better than anything. You'll run into lots of skiers from Somerset here.
