Shawnee Mountain   Shawnee Mountain has a moderate diversity of ski slopes and an okay total of lifts. Shawnee Mountain gets less than average snow each season. The 4 feet of ice cold snow that falls here per season is quite acceptable for a ski hill like this one. This is a mid-size ski area in possession of an average vertical drop compared to other mid Atlantic ski resorts. This ski area has 125 acres of skiable land, and all of it makes for great skiing. This ski area has     a much lower than average fraction of red and black ski runs and a much higher than average fraction of easy ski slopes. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, there are lots of delightful spots for that in close proximity. The wintertime in Pennsylvania is truly a delightful time of year for snowboarding and skiing. A 700 foot height difference is naturally not that much, but Shawnee Mountain has so many other splendid features. All the 23 ski runs here are great. There are 9 good ski lifts here, and they are well kept up and operated by pleasant folks. Scores of skiers from East Stroudsburg like to ski here. Accommodations are available near the bottom of the hill, but do book a   room in advance of a trip since it is a very popular destination. This is a family friendly ski area with many blue and green trails for novices. A delightful workout and just hanging out with your skiing pals are delightful motives to come. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is a lot of fun every day of the snow season.
