Canaan Valley
| | I was skiing at Canaan Valley last winter, and it was pretty good. The conditions weren't ideal, but that depends on the day of course. It's a good mountain. Says Mr. A.

Canaan Valley has an acceptable mixture of runs and a small number of ski lifts. This is a typical size ski area featuring a roughly average height difference if |
compared to other mid Atlantic ski mountains. This ski resort has a much lower than average proportion of tough runs and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green runs. The yearly snowfall is in the region of average at Canaan
| Valley. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from Morgantown. Having 91 acres of skiing land, it's more of a small style ski mountain. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a magnificent thing to do all snow season long. This is a glorious ski area for everybody with scores of blue and green ski trails.
