Canaan Valley   I was skiing at Canaan Valley last winter, and it was pretty good. The conditions weren't ideal, but that depends on the day of course. It's a good mountain. Says Mr. A. I bring my family here a few times each winter and we all love it. Lots of good runs for everybody. Says Steve. Canaan Valley has an acceptable mixture of runs and a small number of ski lifts. This is a typical size ski area featuring a roughly average height difference if     compared to other mid Atlantic ski mountains. This ski resort has a much lower than average proportion of tough runs and a much higher than average ratio of blue and green runs. The yearly snowfall is in the region of average at Canaan Valley. This is a popular ski resort for skiers from Morgantown. Having 91 acres of skiing land, it's more of a small style ski mountain. The snowboarding and the skiing in this part of the country is a magnificent thing to do all snow season long. This is a glorious ski area for everybody with scores of blue and green ski trails. A 850 foot elevation difference is of course not that much, but Canaan Valley has so many other good properties. This ski resort   boasts so much fluffy snow, 13 feet every year, and that is one of the finest features of this ski resort. All 4 great ski lifts at this ski mountain are enjoyable to catch a ride with. This ski hill has 34 slopes that you can ski on; there are more than enough slopes for every ability. Nothing beats the West Virginia peaks in winter; they are something you can’t pass up if you're interested in snowboarding or skiing.
