| | Winterplace now has 28 trails + a terrain park. They have expanded the beginner area to include a new trail. Says Tanner.
All the 27 runs here are enjoyable to ski on. This ski area has a much lower than average proportion of hard ski trails and a much higher than average part of easy ski slopes. The terrain being 90 acres, it makes for a peaceful skiing experience. All 9 great ski lifts at this ski hill make for a comforting ride up the hill. Winterplace |

is a normal size ski mountain in possession of a medium drop compared to other mid Atlantic ski hills. Winterplace obtains an average amount of snow every winter season. If you'll be sleeping in a hotel, you're in luck, hotels are
| | on hand in the vicinity of the base zone, and if you make reservations ahead of going, you're all set. Winterplace has the biggest drop among ski hills in a 89 mile radius. This ski mountain has a decent mixture of ski slopes and an ok selection of good ski lifts. You could be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, in this general region, you'll come upon a lot of ski areas. the depth glorious. Winterplace is a nice spot for young and old with a load of blue and green slopes. The ski map of Winterplace on this internet page unsurprisingly says a thousand words. The 603 foot elevation difference is of
course not that much to brag about, but all the other nice features of Winterplace make up for it. Skiing and snowboarding in this part of the country is scores of fun every day of the season. West Virginia gets very pretty in wintertime;
it is the most glorious time of the year for snowboarding or skiing. Lots of skiers from Beckley like to ski here.
