Fortress Mountain has an acceptable array of slopes and enough great ski lifts to serve them all. The remarkable annual snowfall of 17 feet is sufficient for truly great depth. There are 6 great ski lifts here, and they are skillfully taken care of and run by pleasant folks. Having a total of 47 slopes to ski on; there's a great range to suit everyone. ski resorts. This ski resort gets covered by snowfall close to the local average each winter. The lovely vista of the Alberta highlands and the very great ski trails have people coming from far and near. This ski hill has a much lower than average share of demanding
| trails and a much higher than average fraction of blue and green slopes. As you're on this net page you are in all probability into skiing or snowboarding, either way, this area has a lot of ski resorts. This ski hill has a vertical drop of 1,082 feet; it's enough to get some decent time on the slopes between lifts. There's 400 acres of ski terrain, and all of it makes for magnificent skiing. Fortress Mountain is a good ski hill with scores of different trails; it's completely out of the question to get bored here. The mountaintops of Alberta in winter are a magnificent site for skiing and snowboarding.
