Big White   This is a bigger than average ski area with an average altitude difference when compared to other Western Canada ski hills. This ski hill gets greater snowfall than the local average each season. With 2,765 acres of skiable land you will never run out of ski terrain. Big White has a tremendous range of runs and loads of lifts. The ice cold snow here becomes very deep, 25 feet every year, and that is sufficient for very magnificent depth. Having a totality of 118 trails to ski on; there are plenty trails for every     skill. This ski mountain has a vertical drop of 2,550 feet which is in fact unbelievable. Big White has a much lower than average ratio of tough ski slopes and a much higher than average fraction of beginner and intermediate runs. This ski area has 16 lifts, and they will get you up the hill well. The wonderful panorama of the British Columbia highlands and the pleasant sense of zipping down the trails are pleasant attractions for scores of snow skiers. Good exercise and just being on the runs for a while will make you feel good. Big White is a family friendly ski mountain with scores of green and blue trails for learners.
