Moose Mountain   I went skiing here once many years ago, it was very good. Says Jake. With 700 acres of skiable land you won't lack skiable land. Having a sum of 36 runs to ski on; there's a good assortment to satisfy everyone. The 1,300 feet of altitude difference is pretty all right; Moose Mountain makes excellent use of it. This ski area gets blanketed by lower snowfall than the local average each ski season. Getting a magnificent workout and an opportunity to     spend some time in the wilderness have ski folks coming here. Moose Mountain has the largest altitude difference among ski areas in a 1879 mile radius. This ski mountain has a good range of trails and a small quantity of ski lifts. Some people prefer skiing and some snowboarding, either way, there are not many other magnificent sites for that in the neighborhood. This ski area has a much lower than average share of challenging runs and a much higher than average ratio of green and blue trails. The yearly snowfall of 6 feet keeps the depth pleasant. This is a nice ski resort for the whole family with scores of easy ski slopes. Moose Mountain is an average size ski mountain with a medium drop   from top to bottom when compared to other west coast ski areas. The close by places to stay are a bit far away from the main area, and if you make reservations before you go, you're all set. The scenic panorama of the Alaska summits and the magnificent sense of zipping down the ski slopes are sure to keep you coming back. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is scores of fun all winter season long. This ski resort has a nice pick of ski slopes to suit all abilities; it won’t leave anyone bored. The hills of Alaska in the wintertime are a great place for skiing and snowboarding.
