Irwin Lodge   I haven't been to this place in many years but it's a great place to ski, not too crowded. Says Kate. This ski hill has 3 great ski lifts, and they are competently taken care of and run by friendly folks. All the 15 trails here are good. This ski area has a much higher than average part of red and black runs and a much lower than average part of beginner and intermediate runs. Irwin Lodge has a somewhat small selection of trails and a small number of     lifts. Irwin Lodge obtains stronger snowfall than the local average each season. There are some real leg breaking slopes at Irwin Lodge, man; but you were born an adrenaline junkie, not that much to do about that. The skiing and the snowboarding in this region is so much fun all snow season long. Irwin Lodge is a full-size ski hill featuring a roughly average height difference compared to other US Rockies ski areas. The unbelievable annual snowfall of 50 feet is one of the reasons this is such a good ski area. With 2,200 acres of skiing area you will never run out of skiable territory. This ski area has a drop of 2,100 feet which is tremendous. The glorious mountain scenery of Colorado   and first-rate ski runs make the journey here worthwhile. You might be into skiing or snowboarding, or both, doesn't matter, this is a neighborhood with plenty of places for that. Skiing here is always an enjoyable experience with lots of advanced and expert ski slopes. The Colorado peaks during ski season are something you can’t leave out if you're addicted to snowboarding or skiing. A glorious workout and getting out of the house for a while outshines anything.
