Big Squaw
| | I love to ski at Big Squaw. Says Nina.
Big Squaw brings out the beauty of the mountains here in Maine in the winter. Says Bob.
Big Squaw has a comparatively modest set of slopes and few ski lifts. This ski resort has an average fraction of demanding ski slopes and an average percentage of blue and green slopes. This ski hill has 15 runs, and they are totally fun. This ski mountain has an elevation difference of 1,750 feet; Big Squaw makes |
the most of it all. The nearest ski area featuring a more towering altitude difference is 75 miles away. Big Squaw is a full-size ski area with a roughly average drop when compared to other east coast ski areas. There's 400 acres
| of skiable land, and all of it makes for pleasant skiing. Getting a nice workout and getting out of the house for a while will make you feel nice. All of the 4 good ski lifts will get you up the hill efficiently. The unbelievable seasonal snowfall of 15 feet is one of the reasons this is such a good ski mountain. The seasonal snowfall is roughly average at this ski area. The gorgeous vista of the Maine mountains and the rush of rocketing down a slope make | |
|
the trip here worthwhile. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, in the vicinity, you'll discover loads of nice spots. You may have to settle for a hotel a bit far from the bottom of the hill if you want to stay for the night, but
do reserve a room in advance of a trip in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. Skiing and snowboarding here in Maine is loads of fun the whole winter. Nothing outclasses the Maine mountains during ski season; they are always great for snowboarding or skiing.
