Echo Valley
| | Lovely little ski area. I went skiing there once many years ago. It was great. Says Jim.
The 4 lifts here are satisfactorily maintained and controlled by caring people. The unbelievable 21 feet of yearly snowfall is one of the reasons this is such a nice ski mountain. This ski resort has a much lower than average share of hard runs and a much higher than average part of intermediate or beginner runs. This is a cozier than average ski hill in possession |
of an average elevation difference if compared to other west coast ski mountains. No other ski mountain for 23 miles has a higher elevation difference. Echo Valley is a small-size site, and people who work there are very friendly.
| Lots of skiers from Wenatchee like to ski here. This is a splendid site for the whole family with a heap of intermediate or beginner slopes. Nothing outdoes the Washington highlands in winter; they are a great location for snowboarding and skiing. This ski mountain has a small range of runs and few ski lifts. Echo Valley gets blanketed by an average amount of snow every winter. Hotel rooms are at your disposal in the neighborhood of the bottom of the hill, but if | |
|
you don’t have reservations, you may end up sleeping in your car. The 900 foot altitude difference is unsurprisingly not that much to boast about, but Echo Valley has so many other nice qualities. The 8 ski runs at this ski hill are
perfect. The ski terrain being 70 acres, it's relaxed enough to get to know all your fellow snow folks. Winter in the mountains of Washington and excellent slopes make the journey here worthwhile. A little bit of exercise and spending
some quality time in nature will make you pleased you came. Whether you're skiing or snowboarding, there are a lot of good sites for that close at hand.
